Polartec & Primaloft Trekking & Expedition Socks

Primaloft insulation is incredibly soft, lightweight and breathable with excellent water repellency so you can remain dry, warm and comfortable.

Composition: 40% Poliester, 30% Nylon, 10% Poliester antibacterial, 10% Primaloft, 10% Lycra

Lycra® Adaptability

This fiber has the best zero-point elasticity and is the only fiber that conserves its characteristics forever. Lorpen socks are the only technical socks that include Lycra® throughout their entire structure.

No creases, no abrasion, no blisters.

Extra Flat Toe Seam

Our toecap mesh joins each stitch up with its partner on the other side without creating a traditional seam line or those bothersome ridges that can hurt your toes.

Amazingly warm and comfortable. I wore them on several below freezing days on Kilimanjaro with mid-weight hiking boots and I was the only one in the group with warm feet. Overall, a great sock if your feet tend to get cold or you are heading to extremely cold areas.

I have used these socks Hunting,Hiking, and Skiing. Great comfort and warmth. Paired with a Silk Liner, your feet will stay warm and dry working in the cold rainy weather, and any other conditions. Helps my feet from being tired after a long day's hike.

They are super warm and very comfortable in even my tightest fitting boots. I am an avid outdoors man in the Rockies and enjoy winter camping. The heal has primaloft insulation so there is a walking on butter, or mushy feeling for the first few miles. I have gotten used to it and havent seen any loss in difficult technical placements. On vertical ice it may be an issue, i dont know yet. I have used these on cold hikes in snow territory and my feet/toes stayed comfortable at temps that used to bring a chill. I would recommend them to anyone trying to get a few more years out of their old insulated ski/hike boots or as an intermediate when you dont want to wear plastic boots.
